  • That doesn’t necesarily mean it’s expensive, just super cool.
  • It could be a gadget that will solve world peace, take you from point A to point B in style, or simply accomplish something you do every day better than you ever dreamed possible.
  • Generally, the items covered by MI4M are things that are coveted by high net worth individuals or people who aspire to be a high net worth individuals(even if they are dropping fries at Mickey D’s).

What MI4M wants:

  • any item, service, product, experience that passes the test: If money were no object, would you buy it?

What our readers expect:

  • the coolest stuff on the planet

What our readers will reject:

  • lame promotional stuff that is nothing more that corporate jockeying to make an extra dime.
  • Items which don’t represent the absolute best in category. Second-best won’t cut it.
  • Gadgets for gadgets’ sake. If you want that, go check out The Sharper Image.
  • Expensive items just because they’re expensive.

What to send MI4M:

  • the coolest thing that isn’t getting coverage anywhere else
  • the coolest thing that’s run everywhere and deserves some more attention
  • isomething new that is the best in its category
  • something that breaks all the previous rules, regulations and ideas
  • something that makes you think, “Well of course, someone should have thought of this.
  • Rule of thumb: If James Bond would covet it, then please send it our way for consideration

What MI4M won’t run:

  • everyday, run-of-the-mill products and services
  • stuff you can buy at any big box retailer
  • something that is new just for the sake of being new
  • Anything you would describe as a “kicknack” or “bauble”
  • Things that suck, even if you bribe us (see our Editorial Policy for more on that)
